This collection forms a narrative about Australia’s natural landscapes; a gallery of memories, each visually documented and labelled by their form, colour, and composition. The artworks evoke stories of midnight bushfires, glinting waterfalls, blush sunrises and lush rain forests.
Portraying not only beauty and tranquillity but also nature at its harshest.
The Royal Botanic Gardens form a ‘gallery of green’ that directly inspired my collection: a small, curated slice of Australia’s natural landscape.
Nettie will have more work available at our in person exhibition in March 2022.
