Preciousness generally indicates expensiveness, particularly in regard to jewellery. With my work I want to widen our view on what is precious. A moment of discovering the little ‘sunroof’ above a basil flower or the invisible life force of an opening fern leaf - and these revelations need not be limited to the plant world. All these glimpses whether we interpret some as good or bad are all part of life, reflecting a stage, a moment. They go straight to the heart - and what we learn is remembered for a long time.
Anja will have more work available at our in person exhibition in March 2022.
